2 Modern educational history in Japan 1986, Elementary School Ordinance has been promulgated. So the first time the term compulsory education has been used. Imperialistic infusion principle specific teaching methods have been performed. In the early 20th century, advanced schools to practice the education of the child-centered principle were born.

3 The 1930s, in the elementary school of poverty rural areas, one education movement arose. Children wrote their own life, and it itself became books. To learn these handmade books about each other’s lives, children would become principal of social changes. This movement is very similar to the literacy movement by HO CHI MINH. However, this movement had been oppressed by fascism regime.

4 After the Second World War, child centered learning has been carried out again. From the late 1950s until the 1980s, for high economic growth policy, efficient meritocracy education had been carried out. As a result, the problem of children alienated from learning was very serious. Since the 1990s, the Ministry of Education again, was converted to a child-centered learning. Recently, active learning is very emphasized.
