5. Srebarna Nature Reserve The Srebarna Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in northeastern Bulgaria (Southern Dobruja), near the village of the same name, south of the Danube. It comprises Lake Srebarna and its surroundings and is located on the Via Pontica, a bird migration route between Europe and Africa. The reserve has a rich fauna and flora. 8. Idea The reserve has a rich animal and plant world but the human activity does not influence them well. For this reason we are investing in the creation of a biosphere reserve which will provide a better place for the species to live. This way we will increase the tourists interest in the reserve.
