How to Make Six Sided Snowflakes By Logan and Christopher Room 12 Arbor Heights December, 2006

First get a square piece of paper. Make sure it’s square. Next get a pair of Scissors. Make sure they’re not too dull. You also need a pencil. Make sure it’s sharpened.

Next fold it hamburger style. Make sure the fold is pointing toward you.

Next fold it into a square piece of paper. Don’t forget the fold is pointing towards you.

Next fold it like a rectangle. The fold is still pointing toward you.

Next open it up. You should have four sides like this because if you don’t it means the fold wasn’t pointing toward you. Don’t get mad because it happened to us the first time we did it.

First fold it over so there is 2 lines pointing vertical. Next fold two wings like you’re making a paper airplane. Make sure the middle line stops the wing. The fold is still pointing towards you.

Next fold the wings so it looks like there is two ice cream cones. The point is still pointing toward you.

Now fold the ice cream cones so it makes one big one.

Okay you’ve got pretty far. Now turn the ice cream cone horizontally. You know the part where you put in the ice cream. Then draw a line straight.

Now cut that line that went down.

Now cut little shapes. Try to make lots of little shapes that makes your snowflake look way more cool.

Open up your awesome snowflake. And if you’re in third grade put it up on the wall for a snow day.

Here’s our wall Here is our wall of snowflakes.
