One thing I learned in Social Studies that was really interesting was about the Indians. I thought they had a cool but weird lifestyle. I learned about how they built their houses and what they made them out of. It was cool because we actually got to go outside and build a small house just like the Lenape Indians did. We put animal skins on it and built is out of sticks. What the Indians would do is kill animals they hunted and ate them for meals. I thought that was just a very interesting topic.

One thing I liked learning in science was about microscopes. Two of the first inventers were Anton Van Leeuwenhoek and Robert Hook. I liked how we got to look through the microscopes and see things that we brought in. You could probably tell that I liked it because I got a 100% on my test!

One thing that I learned in social studies was learning how to read a map. We learned about the mountains, lakes, ranges, populations, and more. We had to take a test and I was very nervous but I ended up doing really well!

In science we learned about Outer Space. I already knew a lot about the Solar System but I didn’t know how much I really knew until this year. After I learned about planets this year I realized that I learned so much more than I did last year. I think the solar system is just so cool!

I learned about the Revolutionary War in social studies. It was interesting because so much changed from back then to now in war. One thing is that they wore really weird clothes and now they wear green camouflage suites to help them camouflage to the ground, dirt, and grass.

In school we read a small book about the Boston Tea Party. The Colonists didn’t want to pay taxes so they threw the tea overboard and didn’t have to. I don’t think it is right how King George made those people pay taxes!

Something I learned in science was about mixtures and solutions. We had powder, gravel, and salt.We mixed them all in water. There was some interesting results. All I can say is that I really enjoyed that lesson.

I want to thank my 4 th grade teacher, Mr. Shivers for teaching me about the Indians and other things. I want to thank my 5 th grade teacher, Ms. Jones for teaching me Social Studies and other things. And last but not least Mrs. Holden who taught me science! Thank you to everyone who taught me! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Peru/Maps_tas k_force http://www.biologycorner.com/bio1/microscope.html http://www.lenapeprograms.info/Lenape_History/L_history1.htm http://articles.businessinsider.com/2010-03- 02/news/30030760_1_currency-economic-woes-new-hampshire http://luxegifts.wordpress.com/2009/04/16/modern-day-tea-parties- give-taxpayers-chance-to-voice-their-anger-of-goverment-wasteful- spendings/ http://hogwartsvf.tumblr.com/post/6164849788/tumblr-challenge-day-4- winners-classes
