5. Rabbit are considered a pest in Australia due to large amounts of over population Rabbits are suspected of being the most significant known factor in species loss in Australia. They eat plants that have in some cases gone into extinction This can cause large amounts of erosion problems also with the loss of plants

7. Many different attempts to lower their population have been going on but their amounts just keep growing One attempt was to rip through farm of rabbits and bury them alive Poisoning has been used the most to get rid of them Finally using ferrets to hunt rabbits which can kill them

8. Rabbits reproduce just like any other mammal Not outside eggs are created like reptiles. Rabbit families can be huge if there is mating involved Rabbits are mostly herbivores eating plants of all kinds. But not poison ivy.
