Alfonsi - CERN3 Gas pipes installation schedule Pipes arrived in cleaning workshop yesterday Cleaning should be finished next week A CERN Gas Group technician, specialized in gas pipes welding, will perform the work together with the INFN technician. We agreed the suggestion to use 10mm pipes for exhaust: we borrow them from CERN gas group We have to discuss the installation of a forth line After agreement with SPS people (to avoid overlaps with magnet test) the installation can take place from 23rd to 27th of March It should takes 2-3 days of work. The welder technician support will cost up to 2000 CHF (depending on the time necessary for work)

Alfonsi - CERN4 Required gas lines Gas lines required for June: 1)Micromegas tracker (Ar/CO2/CF4/isobutane mixture): a 4 gas mixing system or an interchangeable set of premixed bottles 2)CERN GDD group (fixed Ar/CO2 70/30): A premixed bottle is ok, but equipping the line with a mixing system would be better.. 3)LNF group (Ar/CO2/He/isobuthane mixture): this MUST be a 4 gas mixing system because they plan gas studies Lines required for October: 1)Micromegas tracker again 2)CERN GDD group again 3)Bonn group (Ar/CO2/methane.. fixed mixture?). Premixed bottle? 4)Saclay group (fixed Ar/CF4/isobuthane mixture). Premixed bottle? Can they run with the same line of MM tracker?

Ask Yorgos.. 3)CERN GDD: 2 HV lines. Share DAQ with MM tracker – OR – additional stuff to be clarified if another DAQ is used 4)LNF group: just an ethernet cable for DAQ. HV? Ask Danilo.. Lines required for October: 1)Trigger PMTs again 2)Micromegas tracker again 3)CERN GDD again 4)Bonn group: 20kV line? For DAQ? Ask Jochen.. 5)Saclay group: one 8kV line and another 3kV line? For DAQ? Alfonsi - CERN7 Gas panel position My proposal is that all gas pipes arrive in a panel on the wall in a “strategic” position in the experimental area  we have to fix asap the place for the setup outside magnet, upstream or downstream of it..
