1 VOCAB 3 CREATING SCRIPTS 1

2 DRAMATIZATION (NOUN) To turn something into a script so that it may be performed. We will create dramatizations of Aesop’s fables. Tortoise and Hare

3 SETTING (NOUN) When and where a story takes place—customs and clothing are also part of the setting. The settings for our Aesop’s Fables may vary. Some may take place in a country setting, some in a village.

4 EXPOSITION (NOUN) The beginning of the story in which readers or viewers learn about the characters and setting. In the exposition for The Tortoise and the Hare, we learn that the setting is in the country and the characters are a slow but determined tortoise and a quick over self-confident hare.
