Family Guy is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlene for the Fox Broadcasting Company.. I selected family guy because it is a funny show that I enjoy to watch sometimes. INTRODUCTION TO THE SHOW

3 . I asked 14 people if they liked family guy. I was doing primary research to get this information. I obtained quantitative data for the research. My results were reliable because everyone has seen family guy. 11 people liked family guy and 4 people didn’t like it as much. Bard is a website where you can find out how many views a program has had or find out how many views a channel has had. You also can look back on dates and find out if the views have increased or decreased to see how well the program/show is going.. season 7: episode 1- 730,000 views, episode 2- 600,000 views,.season 10: episode 8- 970,000 views, episode 9- 790,000 views episode 5- 860,000 views. I found surprising as the show went on it gained more views in a short amout of time. SECONDARY RESEARCH

5 . The age of the people that watch family guy is round 12-27. I say this because it’s a show most young people watch but entertaining for young men.. Family guy is aimed a males more than females because sometimes its bloody with the fighting and can be pornographic at times.. Its aimed at middle class people because those are the type of people the family guy characters are. I think it is aimed at english/american white people but also black people because theres a main family black family in the show..I think its aimed at straight people but also gay/lesbian because theres episodes where the same sex woud be dating.
