The atomic bomb was first used in warfare at Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 and the bomb played a key role in ending World War Two

The atomic bomb (A bomb), created via the Manhattan Project, was first exploded at the top secret base of Alamogordo on July 16th, 1945.

Who and when was invented the atomic bomb On August 2, 1939, just before the beginning of World War II, Albert Einstein wrote to then President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Einstein and several other scientists told Roosevelt of efforts in Nazi Germany to purify uranium- 235, which could be used to build an atomic bomb.

The atomic bomb is important because it give more power to the country that have it. Why the atomic bomb is important for society

Plan for attack Iran/q

The biggest reason was that it brought a rapid close and end to WW II, with the surrender of Japan. Though the Soviet Union's declaration of war against Japan also was a factor, the bombs were really what drove them to surrender. This invention is important for society

Military planners for the invasion of the Japanese home islands did not know about the Manhattan Project (it was known to few outside the project itself) and so it was not taken into account.

It was reported the next day to the Japanese Army General Staff that "the whole city of Hiroshima was destroyed instantly by a single bomb." On August 8 the army was further rocked by the news that the Russians, who had remained neutral to Japan throughout the war, had attacked Japanese forces on the Asian mainland. The Impact on Japan

Finally, the Japanese prime minister and his allies agreed that the only course was to have the emperor break the deadlock by expressing his view. The emperor's statement that Japan's suffering was unbearable to him and that he wished for surrender broke the military's opposition and began the process of ending the war in the Pacific.
