In 1995 the Iperbole civic network (www.comune.bologna.it ) offered each citizen free access to Internet and email account.www.comune.bologna.it Since 2006 the civic network started becoming mobile and ubiquous through Iperbole Wireless, continuously expanding. In 2011 and beyond the aim is to guarantee the Internet neutrality and equal access to everybody, without barriers from the technological point of view and without economic, social and cultural disadvantages/divides.
