The implication for teachers is that, if different people learn different ways, then teachers must teach different ways, in order to accommodate the different learning styles. There are a number of different ways that learning styles can be differentiated or classified. 8. ACE TESOL Diploma Program – London Language Institute TEACHING STYLES As teachers, we have to be aware of our learning styles, because we often unconsciously teach the same way we like to learn. This then frustrates and penalizes the students who DON’T learn the same way we do. To be the most effective teacher, for the most number of students, we have to make sure that we have activities that fit each of the learning styles throughout each lesson. We have to have something for everyone, so to speak.
