5  Registration Shopping Cart  three steps to complete including “check out”  Confirm on-line in your Student Center  Pre-Registration Mid-term for following term  Regular registration First two weeks of the semester

6  Registration Deadlines After First Week, starting August 28: Instructor permission form required to add classes or increase course hours After Second Week, starting September 5: Courses dropped remain on your record with “withdraw” notation Hours and course charges remain in place Courses added require permission form and change order (plus fee)

7  Deadlines, continued Late Registration Fees apply after the Second Friday of the Semester: If registered and need to add a class, Change Order fee applies. If not registered and need to register retroactively, late registration fees apply: Third week:$40 Fourth week:$60 Fifth week:$80 Sixth week forward:$100

8  You accept financial responsibility when you register Audit courses - billed at regular tuition rates Billing is by your student level (Graduate) Cancellation & full refund only if cancel all classes prior to opening day of semester Partial refund of tuition and fees available only through the second Friday of the semester* *flexibly scheduled courses have different dates

9  You are expected to register for graduate courses that apply to your degree program Must request access to register for Undergraduate courses  Graduate Courses cannot be taken Pass/Fail

11  Register for appropriate courses/hours Graduate Courses numbered 5000 or above  Audit, Undergraduate courses do not count toward any graduate registration requirement Federal Financial Aid  Know the requirements of your aid  Must be registered Every semester in which you are using university services & the semester in which you will graduate

17 Federal student loans Complete all requirements (To Do items) Refunds disburse beginning at the start of any semester (if all requirement met) Direct deposit for quickest access to refund (on Student Center)
