5 Housekeeping Analysis Paper  Purpose: Apply knowledge gained through reading and reflection  Your Role: organizational consultant (akin to doctor) NOT Spokesperson  Your task: Briefly introduce the analysis framework of your choice Examine the current performance of the organization Analyze the reasons for the current performance Prescribe ways to improve the current status And suggest ways to monitor progress over time. 7 Reflection on Trust  Trust is like air: we only notice its importance once it is polluted or gone (Annette Baier).  Why is trust important for organizations?

10 Perspectives on organizational trust  Critically for corporations, country of origin colors perception. The survey found that the most trusted “headquarter countries” are Sweden, Canada and Germany. Russia, Mexico and Brazil are the least trusted. The United States ranks only 10th among the 18 countries, with U.S.-based companies getting their highest trust rating in Latin America and Asia and lowest in the European Union.  “Canadian, Swedish and German companies are viewed as environmental, (good) to their employees and generally interested in CSR (corporate social responsibility),” says Edelman. “It’s quite amazing that the U.S. ranks 10th. But we’re above Italy (11th) and Poland (13th).”
