Unlocking Talent & Potential

‘... schools have to prepare students for jobs that have not yet been created, technologies that have not yet been invented and problems that we don't yet know will arise.’ Andreas Schleicher, OECD Education Directorate, 2010

The ‘Unlocking Talent & Potential’ model, now being piloted in EU three countries, connects employers’ needs with educational priorities and creates meaningful learning experiences for young people, helping to develop:  Personal motivation  Future aspirations  Life skills

‘Forum’ is a place for schools to cultivate fresh ideas and great examples of ways to help young people make informed choices about their future lives. Teachers and leaders can access – and contribute to – resources initially developed during a three- year, government-funded programme in the UK.

 Self-audit framework to support strategy development and implementation  Portfolio of briefings and toolkit resources to support implementation in school  Case study examples of employer-supported curriculum-linked projects  Case study template, enabling schools to contribute examples of good practice  Online discussion to exchange ideas, experiences and partnership opportunities
