18. The Meaning of “The Spirit” 1.Spirit could be an incorporeal being, that is like a non earthly presence, having no material body or form. That is a being or presence not constrained by space or time. 2.Spirit could mean a person inspired by a spirit—like a seer, or a prophet, or one the practices divination, or spiritualism. 3.Spirit could refer to a persons own spirit—like the spirit within a person 4.Spirit could refer to the utterances inspired by a spirit, in that way, spirit would be a metonymy, using the name of one thing, for naming another.
