2  Total land area of China is 3,704,427 sq miles. It is the fourth largest country in the world. Shanghai and Beijing are two of the largest and most populous cities in the world.  At least 14 countries and 4 seas border the nation. Since the country is so large, climate is extremely varied - it is sub arctic in the North and tropical in the South.  The population of the country according to a July 2006 estimate is 1,313,973,713. It is officially the most populated country in the world

5  With more than 50,000 rivers, China abounds in rivers. Almost all large rivers in China belong to the exterior river system, which directly or indirectly emptying into the seas. Because China's terrain is high in the west and low in the east, most of its rivers flow east and empty into the Pacific Ocean, including the Yangtze, Yellow, Heilong, Pearl, Liaohe and Haihe rivers. 6  In China, people thought your most important relationship was with your family so Kids often lived in the same house not just with their parents, but also with their grandparents, their aunts and uncles, and their cousins. People thought that family was much more important than friends.  Most boys and girls in China did not go to school, but worked on their parents' farms, picking weeds and planting seeds. Even rich girls did not go to school, but boys from rich families did.  When girls grew up, they got married and left the house they had grown up in to go live in their husband's house, with his family.

7  Chinese cooking is one of the greatest methods of food. Chinese cooking needs time and effort and is considered a very sophisticated. The main food of china is rice, noodles and buns. The accompany dishes are fish, meat or other items.

8  Badminton's history dates back to Ancient Greece and the early Far-Easter so even thiugh it. even though china didn't start it,it is a big supporter of it  Badminton is the world's fastest racket sport  Badminton became an Olympic sport in 1992 and ever since them China has been taking most of the goals  Diving is a very popular sport just not in China but all thruogh Asia so when you go to a swimming pool in china have a go in of trying to jump of the lowest diving platform

9  Modern humans first came to China from Central Asia or India about 50,000 BC. These were Stone Age people, who lived in caves with their dogs and wore fur and leather. They hunted and gathered their food. By around 4000 BC, these people were starting to farm rice and keep sheep and chickens. By about 3000 BC, they were using pottery and living in houses, and they soon afterward learned from Central Asian people how to use horses to pull wheeled chariots.
