3. Assignment Instructions Copy the following into your notes Read “Law and Justice” on page 14-16 (old text) / 17-18 (new text). Take notes on the 4 Characteristics of Justice Think about the difference between equal treatment and just treatment. Write down 3 examples of times in school when equal treatment would not be just treatment.

4. Sharing In a group of 6 – discuss the examples of equity in school (when equal treatment is not fair treatment). Prepare to share your example with the class and to explain how “different” treatment is the most fair.
