2 Physical Characteristics No bones makes the octopus fast and it can go on any subject.Shape – it has a round body with eight tentacles.(Eight arms) Eyes – they are very big and they fool enemies.(the eyes) The octopus turns white when its scared, and red its angry.(pink and gray normal) Suckers – they are little suction cups that pickup stuff. (attach to tentacles)

3 Habitat Ecosystem – in the tide pool. Home – caves, ships, s m all and big places. (muddy, rocky, and sandy places) Where:it lives near the shore and many shallow places.

4 Food The octopus eats crabs, clams, lobsters, and most things with s h ells. When the octopus sees something that looks good it reaches for the subject. Sense the octopus eats things with shells they stick there tongues in the shell and pokes the meat out and spits the shell out.

5 Family Facts When a girl and boy octopus think that it time to have babies they join together. The father reaches under the mother octopus's skin than the mother lays 2,000 too 3,000 eggs. The mother octopus dies when the last octopus hatches.

6 Enemies The octopus’s enemies are stingrays, eels, dolphins. Camouflage – the octopus’s hidden body is very hard to see in in the ocean. The ink hole sprays out ink and the enemies are confuted.

7 Interesting Facts An octopus can grow new tentacles if one comes off. An octopus swims very fast and escapes enemies. It’s eggs look like rice on ribbon.
