2 1111 2222 3333 6666 5555 4444 Next Your investigative team will be looking at information on three prominent scientists, their lives, experiments and inventions. The first part of your task will be to collect information from the websites provided as well as using the SIRS Database. Each student will complete an organizer about one of the scientists and share their information with the group. The group will then decide on a criteria that they think is important in determining who is the best scientist of all time. They will then select one of the scientist and write a 30 second commercial telling why their scientist is the best ever. Finally they will video tape their commercial and present it to the remainder of the class for a final review to vote on the best scientist ever.

3 Click on the list below and go to the website about your scientist. Place the facts on your organizer and think about what you will say to your group as to why your scientist is the best ever! Now your group must use the criteria that they created to decide on which scientist they think is the best of all time. After you made a decision, use the storyboard that your teacher gave you to write your group’s 30 second commercial. Before you can record your message your group must review the writing rubric to make sure that your commercial contains all the necessary criteria, if not go back and edit your work as needed.

Your group will be allowed to do 3 takes and when you are finished download the takes from the camera and view each take. Finally, decide on which take that you will present to the class.
