Renewable Resources 12 Biofuels Nuclear energy

Bio fuel is Fuels such as methane produced from renewable biological resources such as plant biomass and treated municipal and industrial waste. Nuclear Energy is The energy released by a nuclear reaction, especially by fission or fusion Biofuels- Biological things like wood, convert into energy Nuclear Energy- energy released by nuclear fission or fusion. What is Biofuels and Nuclear Energy?

NUCLEAR Goes through a processes of nuclear fusion, the sun makes energy by changing hydrogen- atoms into helium atoms. This makes a great number of energy. Other small atoms, like lithium, may also be put together yielding energy. Fusion won't happen unless without great pressure and temperature Biofuels can be produced from any carbon source, though the most common by far is photosynthesis plant. Many different plants and materials are used for Biofuels manufacture. Biofuels are used globally, most commonly to power vehicles and cooking stoves BIOFUELS Comparison Page Layout How is the energy converted into a usable form of energy? A callout, this can be edited or deleted

NUCLEAR It can be use to make electricity. It is also an energy source, also can be used to make steam, which is used in a turbine to generate electricity. Nuclear power accounts for approximately 19 percent of the United States' electricity production. They are used in vehicles because they need clean fuel. For other forms of non transportation there are other alternative solid biomass fuel like wood. BIOFUELS Comparison Page Layout What is it used for? Its easier for the fuel to be handled.

NUCLEAR We don’t have to use fossil fuels or coal. So that would conclude that we won’t pollute as much. It is also safe clean and reliable. we also save the environment too. Biofuels produce fewer carbon thereby reducing air pollution, greenhouse gasses, and toxins. As the world's supply of fossil fuels decreases, Biofuels offer a renewable and sustainable alternative. It is also less risky because with fossil fuels we have to make mines and dig up also in a result it can be very exspensive. BIOFUELS Comparison Page Layout What are its benefits A callout, this can be edited or deleted

NUCLEAR Its drawbacks are waste cost and possible accidents. Like any other resource this also cost money like for repairs or accidents incase anything where to go wrong. Also because of how much waste their would be and where we would dump it at They have a lower energy output than the traditional ones. Also since we may use crops it increases the price for crops at the market. It also have very heavy smell. BIOFUELS Comparison Page Layout What are its drawbacks Even there are good things about this there is also bad things also

Nuclear Energy- because of all the waste we would be dumping and the cost for any type of accidents or other flaws. And if there is an explosion it can produce radiation. Also release toxic air Why is it not our number one resource & what does it release into our environment ? Biofuels- Because we might have to raise the price for crops or because its not always efficient. Biofuels also release mass amounts of carbon to the air also
