2. Please be sure to use MS Internet Explorer to access the CMS (other browsers may cause difficulties). After your login to EUWI CIS, switch to the CMS by using the button ‚Admin (CMS)‘

3. This is the main screen of the Content Management System. It is devided into 5 main areas: I. Area User: Here you can see which User is currently logged in the system (in most cases you will see your own User Name) II. Area Search: This offers you the possibility of a full text search in the entire system. Enter the desired term and start the search by clicking the button „go“. The list of the achieved results is shown in the middle area of the screen, in the so called ‘Content Area’.

4. This is the main screen of the Content Management System. III. Area File Structure: The area „File Structure“ is navigated as in Windows Explorer. By clicking on a folder, it’s details will be shown in the right area (Content Area). The contents here can be selected and navigated by a single click. Folders which are marked with „+“ contain other folders – they are shown by clicking on the symbol „+“ and are closed by clicking on the symbol „-„.

5. This is the main screen of the Content Management System. IV. Content Area: The so called „Content Area “ is also navigated as in Windows Explorer. The contents here can be selected and navigated by a double click.

6. This is the main screen of the Content Management System. V. Top Menu Bar: The area „Top Menu Bar“ is beside the areas „File Structure“ and „Content Area“ the most important navigation element of the system. To see the tip of a tool, pause the cursor over a tool or button.

7. You will find three important funtions in the top menu bar: Home: By clicking here the starting screen of the system is redisplayed. It is the same screen that you see after a successful Login to the CMS. Tools: Here you can: edit the forum on the public portal edit the forums of the CIS create new EUWI newsletters monitor different activities on the EUWI website Administration: Here you can manage the users and working groups of EUWI-CIS.

8. Under ‚home, you can: upload documents on the CIS and the public portal post events on the CIS and the public portal edit the contents on the CIS and the public web portal

9. In the ‚tools‘-area, you can: edit the forums in the CIS create new EUWI newsletters monitor different activities on the EUWI website edit the forum on the public portal
