8 Chain of Command Dilemmas Fred... Nancy...Jim Food servers at a restaurant Jim calls in sick which means Fred and Nancy will have to take over his station. Fred and Nancy do not mind because it means more tips for them. Janice, the manager, still writes Jim up and later on Jim gets fired for missing too much work even though his co-workers don ’ t complain.
