Women of Every Race and Nationality Women in the US were not allowed to vote in every state until the 19 th Amendment to the Constitution was signed into law in 1920.

African and Chinese Americans Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 gave Chinese immigrates rights to become citizens and land owners in the United States. The miscegenation laws were found to be unconstitutional just two years later, allowing couples of different races to cohabitate and marry. Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination based on race. Color, sex, religion, or national origin. It prohibited segregation in schools, the workplace and facilities that served the general public. Which provided African Americans privileges they lived without for hundreds of years prior.

Gays and Lesbians June 26, 2015 marked the day that the Supreme Court overturned individual states their right to ban marriage between members of the same sex.

Summary While every non white American male has suffered some degree of restriction of human rights throughout the history of our Nation, today in 2015 we are still fighting to achieve equality for all.
