Harvard, here we come! February 16-21 st

Fundraising Update We raised $3,400 Need - $5,400 Balance - $2,000 Each student needs: –$120 by October 1 st –October 1 st, we will see who has raised and if we have to do more fundraising –Right now, we have 17 students going These funds pay for: –Hotels for everyone –All expenses for two NISD employees (required by NISD)

Flight Information If your parents are not coming, you must get on our flight. Must have your flight purchased by December 1 st. Departure (Feb 16)– American Airlines –6:40 AM, Flight #-1466, arrives at 11:40 AM Return (Feb 21 st )- American Airlines –12:05 PM, Flight #-1363, arrives at 3:25 PM

Hotel Information Cambridge Marriott - Two Cambridge Center, 50 Broadway · Cambridge, Massachusetts 02142 USA $164/night, includes all taxes & fees Sleeps up to 5 in a room Has a T stop in the lobby Two stops from Harvard, 3 stops other direction to downtown Boston!!!

Parents! We need you! If you come, I must know by October 1 st You will need to book your own flight/hotel Your student will need to stay in your room with you. You must judge an event at the Harvard Tourney. Parents will have wake up duty of students and lights out duty (taping doors).

Entertainment We will have all Entertainment decided on by November 18 th and I will need a parent to coordinate these costs. Kids entertainment costs will be due on December 16 th We will estimate that entertainment will be $75.

Harvard Tournament Biggest and most competitive in the Nation Tournament goes Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Elimination rounds) Tournament fees are going to be over $1,200, which debate team will cover. Judging fees are brutal! Cannot double enter – only 1 event for each student

Food Food in Cambridge/Boston will be expensive. Plan on $30/day. Save money by bringing bagels or something you can eat in morning There is no free breakfast in hotel.

Boston Subway & Trains Called, the “T” Week long, unlimited passes are, $15 for 7 days. We will buy our cards at Boston Logan airport, so make sure you have $15 ready when we land.
