5 2006-08 College Access Initiative Aligned with Double the Numbers plan $800,000 from the 2006 Kentucky General Assembly to conduct a second phase of the Go Higher campaign More than $1 million in matching funds from campaign partners

10 Double the Numbers plan seeks to: Increase the high school graduation rate of 9th graders from 72% to 81% Increase the high school college-going rate from 62% to 74% College Access Initiative activities: Direct mail to parents/student promotional giveaway College 101 pilot program Development of Kentucky College Access Network Statewide outreach activities based on ACE’s KnowHow2Go campaign College Access Initiative: 15,000 GEAR UP/At-Risk High School Students

Training workshop for toolkits College Access Initiative: 9,500 GED Graduates
