In kidney transplantation (KTx), the arterial anastomosis using the hypogastric artery (HGA) is an easier to practice but the discussion is it may cause curved penis (CP). There were 54 male pts, average age is 37.3 ± 8.8 year old (yo), ranges [22 to 56], age of 31 to 50 yo were 70.4%, and married pts were 92.6%. Results of response on ED: 18/54 pts (33.3%). In these 18 ED pts: 1/54 case (1.8 %) was ED due to atheroma thrombosis of opposite HGA, 17 of them were ED due to nonsurgical causes and have not erected. There are 25 pictures of the erectile penis taken on 25 pts showed 21/25 penis (84%) were straight; light right curved 2(8%); light left curved 2(8%) left offset, but all of curved angles were not higher than 30 degrees and all of 25 pts can have intercourse successfully. Kidney transplantation improves the erectile function. The ED was 33.3% of patient after transplantation but only one case has related to HGA due to opposite HGA atheroma thrombosis. So, in our serial the HGA ligature one site for KTx was not caused CP and the pts can have normal intercourse. But with condition the opposite HGA is normal for the collateral blood supply. This is a case study. The patients (pts) were who underwent a kidney transplantation (KTx) using HGA anastomosis. The diagnosis of erectile dysfunction (ED) based on IIEF-15 criteria, testosteronemia; blood level of LH, FSH, prolactine and other routine exam of allograft following up. The pts were trained the technique make photo of erectile penis himself (at home), on longitudinal position to estimate the curvature. Analyses were done on 2 criteria: normal erectile and ED.
