2. WORLD 10K BANGALORE World 10K Run Bangalore is the only Internationally recognized 10K Run which is conducted annually. The race is ratified by IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federation) & AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) & conferred the IAAF gold label in just two short years since its inception. It is the World’s Highest Priced, USD 160,000 (over 78 lakh) and the only Premier 10K Run in Asia to get the IAAF Gold Label. International Athletes from all across the world participate in the run. The Run is organized by Procam who also organize Mumbai Marathon, Delhi Half Marathon and London Marathon. The run is conducted under the aegis of AFI (Athletics Federation of India) and KAA (Karnataka Athletics Association) and is also recognized by Government of Karnataka, with State Chief Minister as Chief Patron of the Organizing Committee.

The mission being to enhance the quality of services, income and accountability of NGOs – through collaborating with individuals and organisations who share our aim. Our focus is on: Information gathering and sharing Improving the quality of services Increasing income Ensuring accountability Since 2008, when the first World 10K Run was started in Bangalore, we have helped over 200 NGOs raise Rs. 8.04 Crores and also ensured that they get all possible help in reaching out to people through training, workshops, presentations on their behalf, talking to corporate to support a cause in the event.
