10 Tailor Your Brand Add your logo. Change look & feel.
Users expect a simplified, tailored experience Brand uniqueness is important to business units within a corporation Each business unit can present their unique brand experience Here we show an actual customer use case as to why the brand labeling on the display made a difference to the user and the business. An example is a major consumers products corporation that has several known brands under it – this often is the case in companies that offers many products and brands. Having the ability for each division or subsidiary to be able to display their unique brand experience is important! And also the best part because other data that is used throughout the corporation can be made available to the divisions if desired. Such as territory assignment data, no need to re-enter that information if it is useful to another division.. Also divisional forecasts can be rolled up for corporate viewing. “I don’t know if using Oracle Sales Cloud could get any easier, for our initial users it has been an easy adoption. It’s almost as easy as using a consumer app.” — Molly Anderson, Chiro One Wellness Centers

11 Tailor Data Fields Place data fields on page. Validate entries.
Users expect flexibility to define and add fields as needed Example: quickly add a drop down box “opportunity type” Sales managers can track types of sales from their dashboards Here we show an actual customer use case as to why the adding data fields made a difference to the user and the business. IN this case the sales manager wanted to keep track of the types of opportunities that were coming in – which ones were closing the fastest. He added a drop down box to add opportunity type. This is just one example of how you can place fields anywhere on the screen and also have the data validated upon entry.

12 Tailor Workflow Processes
Configure rules. Test for conditions. Workflow processes often vary depending on business conditions Easily modify built-in workflows to make changes to: a sales approval process contract signoffs special order process approve product availability by country Here we show an actual customer use case as to how the changed approvals process made a difference to the user and the business. You can change workflows to change a sales approval process, a certain contract value that needs special approval or A special order approval process. Or even approvals to make products available in certain countries. These are just some examples as to what you can do…

13 Tailor Dashboards Create unique views. Analytics built-in.
Each role looks at data differently to conduct their job Role based security built-in. Each role sees only data relevant to them Managers and users are empowered to tailor their views of data Leads to discovery and new ways to improve the business Here we show an actual customer use case as to how tailored reporting dashboards made a difference to the user and the business. Oracle has designed SaaS with apps with analytics built-in from day one, not added on afterwards as an after thought. (notes: SFDC has recently bought Relate IQ for $350M July 11, 2014 to provide analytics strengths that they do not have. See addtl SFDC notes below: Salesforce.com is also without sophisticated business intelligence (BI). Customers seeking data warehousing, data mining, online analytical processing (OLAP) or predictive analytics will need to procure third party solutions from AppExchange or elsewhere. - See more at: strengths.php#sthash.yoQTfJEe.dpuf

14 Tailor Display on Any Device
Configure. For any device. Users expect to access information from any device Quickly select fields to have data display on any device: Web Mobile Outlook pages Users expect to access information from any device. Here you can select which data fields should display on the web, on mobile or on outlook pages

15 Tailor Social Conversations
Contextual conversations. Get auto updates from Sales Cloud. Brings sales teams together for topical information sharing: link directly to a conversation automatically update specific conversations based on sales activities reference structured and relevant conversations for historical purposes access from any device: web, mobile, desktop Here we show an actual customer use case as to why enabling OSN made a difference to the user and the business. Here a sale was closed and the information was automatically updated into the sales and deal team’s conversation thread. Other notes: Oracle Social Network provides a developer site which explains how to enrich applications with Social Capabilities. These social capabilities enable applications to take advantage of OSN Conversations, Social Objects (making business transactions social), Content, and People capabilities. These social capabilities can be added to applications via embeddable social plug-ins (similar to the Facebook newsfeed and like boxes). As well, Oracle Social Network provides an extensive and secure set of REST APIs for custom integrations.

16 Extend Oracle Sales Cloud with PaaS

17 Create a Mobile App Automated lead follow-up.
App assists sales reps in lead follow-up process: Salesperson scans a business card with phone Assigns a follow-up date to self or inside salesperson Saves as a Contact to Oracle Sales Cloud Salesperson is alerted on a specific date to follow-up with contact Here we show an example of creating a mobile app to solve a common sales problem – lead follow-up and how to advance sales follow-ups for the business Example: An automated lead follow-up app: Everyone knows how hard it can be to follow-up on leads or contacts after conferences/shows. So many leads so little time. This app allows a salesperson to be scan business card and set a future reminder to follow up on the lead/business contact. With Oracle PaaS, you can go beyond SaaS apps, to create mobile apps that can run on any device across your entire business.

18 Share Documents Externally
Share documents with partners. Document Cloud Service. Collaborate on a sales opportunity with partners Create a shared folder for a specific partner / opportunity Embedded folder in the Sales Cloud UI Users can leverage all Document Cloud functionality for managing shared folder content Across web, mobile, desktop and offline Here we show an actual customer use case as to why the advanced document sharing made a difference to the user and the business. 24 Faster change with less cost
SPEED to innovate with STANDARDS to keep moving fast Less development time – less constraints imposed by the platform No training needed for developers– using well known language Better debug tools 9 Million Java developers worldwide Easy to find developers, less cost to business Port code to any open platform – no lock in Less development time is on an Oracle platform because that are less restrictive limits imposed,,, unlike other platform providers. Up to 25% of a developers can be used seeking ways to comply with other cloud providers highly restrictive constraints. Oracle provides your business with decreased cost and faster development than other platfrom providers. Your development team most likely knows Java and Oracle tools, they can get started right away creating applications, etc Oracle has extensive debut tools that make it fast and easy to test code There are over 9 Million Java developers worldwide. Other platform providers use proprietary languages that take time to learn and it can be very hard to find developers with that experience and they can be very costly once you do find them. That applies to making changes to the code much later down the road as well. Code created on an Oracle platform is built on standards meaning it can be ported to any open platform and run. You are not locked in to using Oracle. In the short term, you’re focused on speeding up innovation You need to digitize key business processes and create an engaging user experience And, you want software updates that contain the latest innovations, so you don’t risk falling behind the times. What happens down the road when perhaps you want to create new apps or your own innovations? Oracle’s difference is it combines SPEED WITH STANDARDS to help you innovate now and keeps you moving fast into the future. Standards such as having an integrated framework with consistent data model for your business with unified access controls. And, having familiar tools can help you get there faster and more inexpensively, when you want to create even more innovations across your entire business In the long term, standards allow you to keep moving fast and allow you to scale innovation across your business with less cost We think you need a modern cloud that contains both “SPEED WITH STANDARDS” to succeed
