3 Turning Lessons/Domains ON Home Screen Under “Instructional Progress” click on “Which Students are struggling with Online lessons” (small box pops up with “Student Lesson Alerts”) Note which students need lessons/domains turned on Click on “Assignments” tab at the top Click on “Student Lesson Plan” sub tab Find the student Note in the top right that a domain is turned off Click on Domain name Change button from “off” to “on”

4 What can I do to help this student achieve success? 1. Reset student’s lessons in i-Ready to earlier lessons Click on the Domain that is off Scroll up to find an earlier lesson that relates to the skill Click to the left of the lesson number and an arrow will reset the student pathway Click Save 3. Teacher-toolbox lessons Log into teacher-toolbox.com Requires enrollment for both ELA and Math with codes Math: NCCM-FES4 ELA: NCCR-DFN 2. Add extra lessons Go to the “Assignments” tab Click on the “Extra Lessons” sub tab Click “Add Lessons” Choose the domain Check the box next to the lesson(s) you want to add to the student’s path Click “Add”

6 When setting up how to view many of the reports you can adjust the “define on grade level” box. ONLY use the beginning of the year view for early on in the school year; once second quarter starts switch to mid-year view; switch to end of year view NO later than mid third quarter. 7 Gives a distribution of where your students placed in reference to being on grade level Shows how your class did overall on the diagnostic and by each domain CLASS REPORTS Class Profile Report

8 If you click on the student’s name it will take you to the student’s profile The arrow keys in each box allow you to sort greatest to least or opposite CLASS REPORTS Class Profile Report

9 CLASS REPORTS Class Norms Report Shows how your class did overall on the diagnostic compared with other students nationally.

10 Use this report to monitor how your class is progressing against growth targets, and whether your students are on track to meet expected growth by the end of the year. You need 3 data points for this report to work. Add COOPERS PM dates CLASS REPORTS Progress Monitoring Report

14 CLASS REPORTS Class Response to Instruction Report How is your class doing overall in i-Ready on each domain?

15 CLASS REPORTS Class Response to Instruction Report Student’s pass rate is below district threshold. Click on student’s name access student’s report to see areas of concern. Periodically monitor amount of time spent on lessons. Are they working, sitting idle, or struggling with skill/concept?

16 STUDENT REPORTS Student Profile There will be a second bar once a second diagnostic is given. Can filter down to each domain to see progress

17 STUDENT REPORTS Student Profile Written explanation that can be used for IEP meetings/parent conferences

21 STUDENT REPORTS Student Response to Instruction Box is only populated if the lesson was an extra lesson. Extra lessons do not count towards student’s progress Performance/Score/Time on Task Click on NC map to get CCSS for lesson

22 STUDENT REPORTS Parent Report Great visual for parents to see where their child is in math/ELA Excellent tool for parent conferences or to email PDF to parents
