3 OPEN DAYS, 5 MAY 2001 The idea… To sensitize youth to current European issues, and especially on issues concerning European political conscience by promoting an innovative methodology on civic education through the active participation of students based on student cooperation throughout Europe and taking advantage of the power of press.

11 OPEN DAYS, 5 MAY 2001 Difficulties Find interviewees & fix a date for the interview, Non – cooperating people, Not enough time, Some people didn’t know a lot about the topic (e.g.questions on politics & economics), The web-site could not be easily accessed from computers outside school, We live far away from each other and we could not meet outside school to work.

14 OPEN DAYS, 5 MAY 2001 What we liked … Daily grind vs. project 0:1, Getting acquainted with the work of a journalist, Collaborating with a newspaper, Designing the layouts of the articles with a real layout program at the office of newsapapers, Our views have been published and in fact translatd and published also abroad!

15 OPEN DAYS, 5 MAY 2001 What we gained ! Exchanging opinions and learning of the lifestyle in other countries, Advantages & disadvantages of handling this kind of data, Knowledge about the Internet.
