5 Some remarks related to the incoming staff (2 persons) The colleague coming from Belarus National Technical University (Viacheslav Khatko) spent 3 months at the Department of Atomic Physics (founded by Zoltan Bay) of BME. He carried out experiments with Hungarian colleagues and they were planning to publish a paper containing the results. They wanted project based cooperation as well but Belarus was not among the eligible partners. The colleague coming from Technical University of Moldova (Sergiu Tronciu) joined our Faculty of Architecture for 3 months. His visit had a very rich program (educational, research cooperation, exhibitions, site visits). We mention here only the Museum of Military History in Budapest, where he collected information to thesis (location and development of river towns). 5
