1 CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Adult, Child and Infant

2 Signs and Symptoms of a Heart Attack - Chest pain/discomfort (#1)- that last more than 3-5 minutes or that goes away and comes back -Pressure, squeezing or tightness -Difficulty breathing -Sweating -Nausea or vomiting -Pale, bluish or moist skin -Changes in pulse rate

5 CPR- Adult Check-Call-Care Check-Call-Care –Check the scene –Call 9-1-1 –Check for breathing for 10 seconds  If not breathing, begin chest compressions (30) and give 2 rescue breaths (rescue breath should last about 1 second)*

6 CPR- Adult In center of the chest, push down 2 inches In center of the chest, push down 2 inches –Give 30 compressions* –Give 2 rescue breaths* (head-tilt/chin- lift) –Continue until an AED arrives or EMS takes over (*stop CPR only if you become too exhausted to continue)
