My American Dream By: Paul Vanden Brook

What do I want to be in life? I want to be a lawyer with a top law firm where I am the senior partner or a brain surgeon where people from all over the world come to see the best – that’s me. Maybe an engineer developing new technology.

My hobbies in life I love science, mathematics, and winning arguments against my friends. One of my hobbies, repairing cars, is good experience for being an engineer. My arguments with my friends are good practice for my lawyer career.

Who I look up to in life I look up to Rudy and my parents. I look up to Rudy because he tried his hardest to play football for Notre Dame. He had the heart to never quit on his goals. I look up to my parents because they believe in me and the opportunities available to America!

What do I want to live? I would like to be wealthy enough to own a home on the hillside over seeing the ocean in La Jolla. I want two healthy kids, a great relationship with my wife, and have a dog or two. I hope my neighbors are friendly and enjoy the roar of the precision engine in my Lamborghini.

Life’s road bumps I’ll study before quizzes and tests, and do all my homework. I must get A’s, no B’s, so that I can get into a good college, and get all A’s in college, to get a good paying job. When the goings get tough I’ll try even harder. If I need help, I’ll rely on myself, my parents, and my friends. As I would do the same for any one of them.

How do you know you’ve made it? I will have my dream job, my home on the hillside in La Jolla, my family, my dogs, and of course – my black Lamborghini Gallardo. It makes me happy when I succeed in something like, being the only one to solve the problem in my class, an A on a test, or when I achieve my dreams. My last words for generations to come is be smart with the money you make and always try, try, try, try, try to achieve your goals. Anyone can quit, persevering is hard. So celebrate your successes!

Thanks for watching Now have a nice day….
