2 Nouns are words that name people, places, and/or things.

3 Some nouns name a special person, place, or thing. These nouns are called proper nouns. Proper nouns begin with a capital letter. United State of AmericaNew York City Henry Elementary School

4 People often have special titles that show respect for who they are or for the work they do. When a person’s special title is written with their name, use a capital letter at the beginning of the special title. Let’s look at some special titles.
