What ya gotta know!

1. Clay NEVER goes air born! 2. No spraying anything but the clay! 3. No “slimeing”. 4. Keep clay contained & wet (no clay dust). 5. Do not wash clay down the sink (use the dirty bucket first)

 Keep ALL your clay wet! Spray often and seal in a plastic bag at the end of the day.

 Clay is messy so wear an apron.

 Be careful about getting air pockets! MAKE GOOD CONNECTIONS!

 Clay is fragile, so don’t get thinner than about ¼ of an inches and don’t have things sticking out too far from the body of the clay.

 Work from “general to specific” (do details last).

 Clay will dry out your hand – bring lotion.

1. At the end of the day – wipe you table with a rag and dry with a paper towel (or it will leave clay dust). 2. Rinse hands and rag in the dirty bucket first BEFORE washing in the sink. 3. Don’t let clay get in the sink.
