6 A CCESSORIES Teacher laptops have built-in microphones. All other PCs will need mics (check out from media center). Task – Make a Recording Click ‘start’ and click ‘all programs’ Click the ‘accessories’ folder Click ‘sound recorder’ Click ‘start’ You can start, stop and resume a recording. After saving, a new file can be started. Files play from the designated media player (.wma file type). Cannot be edited. Can be added to other applications (Word, PowerPoint, MovieMaker, etc.).

7 S OUNDZABOUND Getting Started Video Soundzabound Website Tutorials Click on Cobb Digital Library (CDL) Login, username ‘palmer’ and password ‘read’ Click on ‘Multimedia Databases’ Scroll down to Sounzabound and click ‘open now’

8 S OUNDZABOUND Task – find a clip, preview it, download it Under the heading ‘browse by’ click to search by volume, artist, category, time cuts, or title. Click for selected volume number, artist name, category, time, cut, or title. Click on a column heading to sort results by artist, title, or length. Click the ‘play’ button to listen to the track. Click the ‘download mp3’ button to download track. Click ‘open’ to play your selection. Click ‘save’ to choose where you want to store the file.

9 V OICE R ECORD F REE Tap the Edmodo app and sign in Tap the Voice Recorder App Task Create a recording (.m4a file type) Edit the recording Share (open the recording in Edmodo) Send it to yourself in a post (or save it in your library) Download it to your laptop from Edmodo (may also be downloaded via USB cord connection) Take Away – Voice Recorder instructions
