Not you, not others.  C oncentrate on the positives, no matter how small.  E verybody experiences sadness, hurt, failure, rejection, and setbacks sometimes; not just you. They are a normal part of life.  B lame fairly. How much of what happened was because of YOU, OTHERS, or BAD LUCK?  A ccept what you can’t change; try to change what you can.  C atastrophizing exaggerates your worries. Don’t believe the worst possible picture.  K eep things in perspective. It’s one part of your life. REMEMBER TO BOUNCE BACK!

(well, hardly ever).  E thics and decency are the rule (or it’s not worth it).  R isk taking is sometimes necessary  S mart goal setting helps you plan and succeed. SETTING AND ACHIEVING GOALS: WINNERS!

7  Make Connections – Make friends  Help Others and be Kind  Maintain a Daily Routine  Take a Break  Self-Care and Dress for Success  Move Toward Goals – set reasonable goals & move towards them one step at a time.  Positive Self-Image – Act more positive than you feel.  Keep Things in Perspective and Maintain a Hopeful Outlook  Look for Opportunities for Self-Discovery – What can you learn from hard times.  Accept That Change is Part of Living – New goals can replace goals that have become unattainable.
