9 PEOPLE - MANAGEMENT  Effective Communication is the KEY  LESS is usually MORE ( The less said-the Better )  Answers –Short and To the Point – Best Result  Lengthy Answers – Lead to Increased Questions  3 PART - TEST  1) Did your Response FIT the Situation ?  2) Was your Response EFFECTIVE ?  3) Was your Response DEFENDABLE ?

10 NON – VERBAL COMMUNICTION  Body language is Very Important  A Picture Paints a Thousand Words  Avoid Flash-Points – Explain and GO !

11 CONFRONTATION  Make your Point in a Direct and Professional way  Don’t Seek Approval / Agreement  Listen – Respond - LEAVE

12 DISTRACTIONS  STOP them – IMMEDIATELY  If an Action of a Player or Coach affects your Concentration Deal With it get back to the Game  RESPECT THE GAME AT ALL TIMES

13 COACHES AND PLAYERS  Establish a Line of Communication – (Early)  The KEY is How / When you Interact  Use Names if Possible / Suitable ?
