Ageing of Middle East Vanessa Kern

Ageing in the Middle East In the Middle East ageing is a big problem. As people are getting older, not a lot of people are there to help take care of them. So they started making services to help the elderly in their older ages. They have tried making better enviroments, they’ve made nursing homes, and retirement homes.

Ageing in the Middle East The Middle East has set up services for young people to learn, and be trained on how to care for the elders. The program is designed to make the older people feel safe and secure. Also they want them to be happy in the enviroment they live in.

Middle East faces Ageing Some other problems about ageing, that no one wants to help. There is a very small group of people who are willing to watch over the elderly people. Since people are always ageing, and the lack of members wanting to help, elderly people aren’t getting the support they need.

Middle East faces Ageing No one will want to help them, so if something bad happens to one of them, then people will complain about the lack of help. Nursing homes and retirements homes aren’t very common in the Middle East. They have them, just not a lot. Or enough to fit all the elders. With that being said, more people will start volunteering to watch the elders, at home.

United Nations involvement with Ageing The UN is trying to build better communities for elderly people. They want to make it stronger and wealthier for them. United Nations reported that one out of every nine people of the world’s population of seven million are over 60 years old.

The Future for the Middle East People will continue to get older. More and more services will be created to assist the elderly and their needs and hopefully more people will volunteer and join to take care of them.

Issues to be Resolved  More services need to be made.  Lot’s of other willing people will join to make the lives of the elders better.  People will improve their knowledge in health related problems for the elders.  Increase the interest of health related problems for older people.
