Surface Area and Volume of Three-Dimensional Object
The surface area of a three-dimensional object is the sum of area of each side of the object. Surface area is measured in square units such as square feet (ft2), square yards (yd2), square meters (m2), square kilometers (km2), etc. The volume of a three-dimensional object is the measure of the space enclosed by a object.
