Day One Begin by looking at Images of the Great Depression found at Respond to the following questions using the Primary Source Guide from the Library of Congress (attachment): Determine when and where these photographs may have been taken. Which picture (image) impresses you the most and why? What story do these pictures (images) tell? What questions do these pictures (images) suggest?

Design, organize, and write a reaction to the book, “Out of the Dust.” Refer to your “Guided Reading Journals” for summaries on each section of the book in order to create your story.
