2 Missions and Objectives Institute E-Seniors is specialized in: observation and prospective studies, research and development ICT access for seniors and disabled people We contribute in: initiatives in accordance with users needs and tested in the field project dissemination and promotion of best practices building and developing European networks CO-BUS-VET Kick-Off meeting Assen 30/31st October 2013 Main objective: To participate in the field in development of ICT-solutions that are adapted to seniors and disabled needs’ and skills.

4 State of Art With the ageing European population, the questions related to seniors are of interest – notably, the active ageing and sustaining the independence are essentials are key challenges. New ICT are an opportunity for seniors to: Stay « connected » Sustain their independence and an active style of living Overcome social isolation E-Seniors targets to provide digital access for seniors and disabled people by offering ICT trainings and participating in local and European projects CO-BUS-VET Kick-Off meeting Assen 30/31st October 2013

7 OutDoor ICT -Partners Università LiberEtà del Fvg – Italy Aula de Mayores de la Universidad de Málaga – Spain Die Kärntner Volkshochschulen – Austria Cultural Institute of Évora – Portugal Institut E-Seniors – France Edirne Tourism and Hospitality Vocational High School & Parent Union – Turkey -Summary The project Outdoor ICT aims to offer pathways to explore and use expertise and knowledge of project partners in the field of adult education, health care promotion and ICT by tailoring them to the needs of people over 45. The main objectives of the project explore needs of the target group to offer people 45+ opportunities to explore new ways of acquiring knowledge on ICT to combat intergenerational gaps, to share experiences of partners and participants CO-BUS-VET Kick-Off meeting Assen 30/31st October 2013

8 YODUL - the YOung and aDULts Partners Orhaneli Halka Eğitim Merkezi – Turkey Cepapub Rosalia de Castro – Spain Institut E-Seniors – France Summary The YODUL project seeks to: - identify and develop innovative methods for enhancing the intergenerational dialogue between the adults and the young in European countries - disseminate the findings and the good practice widely Objectives: - to develop the collaboration between the adults and the young in EU standards - to arrange activities and dialogue meetings so as to improve the collaboration to the benefit of the adults in the European educational system CO-BUS-VET Kick-Off meeting Assen 30/31st October 2013
