4.  Excel can be used as a manipulative to make sense of numbers and data through visual representation. Excel can also be used to organize data for both students and teachers.  Excel can be used in teaching probability and statistics, to help with experiments, to organize data, to generate charts, and to graph functions. You can also perform different mathematical functions and calculations.
