Step One – Turn your page orientation to landscape and create a table to provide a framework for your page In this case, I’m building mine with a 3 x 3 table.

Step Two– Merge cells to fit your design.

Step Two continued – Merge cells to fit your design.

Step Three – Apply background colors

Step Four – Insert page names and apply link locations to them

Step Five – Insert pictures you have saved from your H drive

Step Six – Insert other artwork and text. Make it your own.

Step Seven – Finish it up. In this case, I turned off the borders.

Step Eight– Save the MS Word version to the same folder where your artwork is located.

Step Nine – Save the MS Word version to the same folder where your artwork is located.

Step Ten – Use the page you just created as a template for the rest of your site.

Notice my MS Word document continues on to the next page. This doesn’t matter because the html version will get rid of web breaks.

Step Eleven – Save your pages as web pages with the same file names you used as your links.

Step Twelve – Proof your site, test your links, correct as needed. Just remember to make and save your corrections in the Word versions of your web sites. Then SAVE AS your corrected documents in WEB PAGE format when you are done making corrections.

OK, admit it, that was 25 fewer steps than you thought it would be. Good luck out there.
