2 Why bats are good 70% of bat population consume bugs as a food source. Micro bats capable of eating 300 bugs every hour. These include mosquitoes, moths, locus, and grasshoppers. This is good because these bugs kill crops/spread diseases.

3 Helping the rain forest Macro bats eat fruit. When the seeds pass through them they replant the forest. This is good because of the loss of our rain forests.

5 Preserve ecosystem Because bats eat so many insects it helps maintain that population so it doesn’t grow to quickly. If insect population increases it could kill a lot of crops. Help maintain rainforest by pollinating plants.
