6 PASADENA CITY COLLEGE Pathways/Portal Pilot: 2011-12 300 in-district students – 1 st generation, financial need Development of a 3-unit First-Year Experience Seminar – Credit, information literacy, study skills, and strategies for reading and writing in context Summer: Math Jam/Orientation – Two weeks, family orientation, community building Fall: Math, English, 110 Course Spring: Math and English Support team (FYE counselor, case managers, Supplemental Learning)
