The effectiveness of the Public Works Administration was extremely necessary and very effective. It was a sense that the president knew he had to go to extreme matters to get the nation back on track. He had the right idea to give 6 billion dollars to this organization, and by doing this it allowed people to have a job, get money so it will raise the consumption level which meant business would start hiring people again. At the same time it was modernizing the nation. Public Works Administration is still in use today. They're the reason why we have new roads, roads plowed, and city parks. The reason why they have kept this organization still going is because they are the ones that keep the cities cleaned up and looking good. They also make it a safer living environment. At the same time people are employed. Does it still exist? Construction workers building railroad on a bridge. http://www.mbimedia.com/_img/market_photos/construction _management.jpg
