3 This project has been designed to develop basic maths, mother tongue language, science and ICT skills of pupils through enhancing the use of the school outdoor spaces in order to promote the development of a small enterprise. In these two years, opportunities have been created for pupils to apply their skills to real life situations and understand the basics of entrepreneurship. All pupils were successfully involved in the process, including those with special needs, those at risk of exclusion and pupils of different ethnicity. INTRODUCTION

4 This booklet showcases a number of samples of the final results our pupils produced using the vegetables and aromatic herbs they planted, grew and harvested during the two years’ project. Pupils from the different schools worked hard to be able to present a final product and learnt a lot about how an enterprise work in the process. The booklet will allow them to share the results attained in the different countries and learn from different ideas and proposals. OUR products booklet

Some of the pupils in 4eme went to see what had been harvested at the end of the summer and chose one vegetable to use in a recipe : carrots. They brought different recipes with carrots in class and we selected one to work on. The pupils spent some time translating it to English and learned specific cooking terms. Then we all agreed we had to illustrate it and two pupils in the class proposed to make a special presentation … Here it is ! : New Year’s cards. During the project, pupils discovered what land art was by picking up seeds, arrange them to make nice patterns and they used them to create New Year’s cards.
