15 Why I chose Relay for Life I chose to participate in Relay for Life because my aunt Jane is a survivor of Ovarian Cancer. Also, my aunt Jane’s son, David, is now suffering from Cancer. The Cancer has spread throughout his body, and he is now on bed rest. David is in his thirties, and I still have a hard time believing that he has Cancer. I wanted to participate in Relay for life in Honor of my aunt Jane and cousin David. I love them both, and I treasure each moment I now get to spend with them both.
