2 STUDENTS’ PRACTICE  – students are divided into pairs and work at one computer  - they choose a country they want to describe (work with Encarta, the Internet)  - they write about a chosen country in MS WORD  - they work with the PPT (copying, pasting, inserting Clip Arts, importing images from Encarta and the Internet)

3 - students are to upload their presentations to the class web page with a short comment explaining why they have chosen this particular country - students write comments on one another’s projects and send them via e-mail. FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES

4 POTENTIAL PROBLEMS some students may work slower than others computer connection to the Internet may fail many students may choose the same country, which can make the activity less interesting some students may have problem with deciding which country to choose

5 EVALUATION OF STUDENTS’ LEARNING - students will practice how to write a description - students will get confidence working with MSWord, PPT - students will practice computer skills such as, copying, pasting, browsing etc - students will skim and scan in order to elicit the most important information
